Why we like it: We never tire of praising the winemaking talents of David Ramey….his wines are that good! This Chardonnay, produced from fruit harvested from the famed Rochioli Vineyard in the Russian River Valley is Cru Burgundy in quality. Medium to full in body, it’s one of those wines that’s both powerful and elegant, with beautifully integrated acidity, and lots of mineral sparks flashing through on the finish. Perfectly balanced, everything is in just the right place.

What to serve with it: Enjoy this with your favorite seafood preparations, especially swordfish. Pork dishes made with lighter sauces and poultry dishes will showcase the wine beautifully as well.
