Why we like it: A new offering needs to be remarkable to find its way to our shelves after the first of December. Here is one such wine! Lafleur-Gazin is what the right bank wines of Bordeaux are all about! Wonderfully aromatic, the wine fills the mouth with tons of red and blue berry flavors. The plush palate is sensuously silky, yet powerful, regal and perfectly balanced. It’s totally approachable now, but will gracefully age another ten years. What to serve with it: Bring out the very best for Lafleur-Gazin. Steak or lamb dishes always come to mind when we talk Bordeaux, and some lovely cheddar cheese would be a great match as well.
